Gajen’s Story

Gajen Arumugam’s path is marked by passion, perseverance, and a steadfast dedication to excellence. Gajen started his career as a devoted math teacher before moving to Canada in 1986. During his early years in Canada, he was part of one of the country’s top automotive parts manufacturers, where he dedicated over ten years to honing production efficiency and quality assurance standards.

After leaving the automotive parts company, Gajen entered the cabinetry sector, working for a manufacturer serving big-box retailers in Canada and the USA. During this time, he developed his operations and supply-chain management skills by sourcing high-quality materials worldwide, minimizing operating expenses, and creating products with remarkable efficiency.

In 2007, during his final transition, Gajen founded Lucvaa Kitchens in a small factory close to its current location with help from his youngest brother. He aimed to merge technology with traditional woodworking, investing in CNC machines that allowed the Lucvaa team to achieve remarkable precision and creativity.

Currently, Gajen leads Lucvaa Kitchens, which is driven by fundamental principles of innovation, efficiency, and a dedication to crafting cabinetry that enhances homes. His path exemplifies hard work, family support, and an unwavering pursuit of excellence.
